"This is the best designed cage and netting system I've seen in over 6 years of paramotor flying and is as comfortable as any machine I've flown. It is well designed and practical, with a clear path to completion. While a paramotor might not seem a complicated project, there are some significant elements that must be done properly and this machine does so eloquently. |

Other than Jeff, I think I have flown the Skybolt more than anyone else. I weight about 235lbs and own a Simonini based factory machine . The Skybolt is definitely much, much lighter and with the Black Devil, it has plenty of power to give me a good climb rate. I love the way it breaks down for transport and reassembles in seconds. I have never attended any of the distant fly-ins because shipping my machine is a nightmare. With the Skybolt, it can be disassembled and and fit into a nice size shipping container. Once you see the Skybolt up close, you can tell Jeff has put a tremendous amount of thought into this design. Hoop construction, net attachment, and fittings are all designed light, strong, easy to assemble and with no welding! While fairly light (under 60lbs) it is tremendously rigid. I have seen Jeff do pull-ups on the cage. For an average to heavy sized guy, I truly believe the Skybolt is by far the best paramotor design so far. Thanks Jeff, you not only have made the sport more affordable, but also have come up with a design that anyone who can drill a hole and turn a wrench can make. |

Here's what came immediately to mind... "Wicked-clever and original design, straightforward construction, and affordable too - it's a breath of fresh air in marketplace full of much more expensive competition." |

A PPG should be an easy thing to home-build, but up to this point there has not been a decent, easy-to build, lightweight, powerful, good flying, well-engineered PPG kit on the market. Jeff's design meets all the needs of a PPG kit. It is easy to build, strong, lightweight, powerful, uses easy-to-obtain parts. But more importantly, the machine is supported by one of the most knowledgeable PPG pilots around, there is a strong following already, and the machine REALLY flies, and it flies very well. After having flown it quite a few times now, I can say that it flies, and launches, as well or better than any PPG on the market today. Other PPG plans that have been around have never flown, at least not to my knowledge. |

I have flown the Skybolt with the Black Devil engine. The B/D could get most anything in the air, and when coupled with Jeff's innovatively designed kit frame & cage, I sense a revolution coming in the PPG world. The unit is as light as anything in it's class with a motor that powerful, and is stronger than anything else out there. Weight & balance are as good or better than anything I have flown. Of course the real beauty of this unit is the ability of the owner to repair the frame/cage which is easy to do & inexpensive. And it is the least expensive unit on the market today. I see a great future for the Skybolt! |
