| This Safety Add on is designed for improved
protection from the propeller. As always, use of this equipment is at the
owners own risk. This safety add on is built with conduit benders, the receivers are 5/8 OD x.058 wall 6061T6 aluminum, bolted to the radial tubes with 2 inch x 8-32 stainless steel round head bolts, with nylon washers between the receivers and radial tubes. The straight parts are 1/2 inch OD x .058 wall aluminum. 6061T6 aluminum provides good strength, stronger alloys are available also. The straight tubes are held in with the standard push in clips. |
To build this cage as shown, you will need to order 8 feet of 5/8 OD x .058 wall aluminum, 11 feet of 1/2 OD aluminum, wall thickness for the 1/2 inch tube does not matter. The thicker the wall, the more strength. Push clips are available from us @ppgplans.com. |
